Terms & Conditions
The Terms & Conditions for Reema Physio & Wellness: Physiotherapy and AposHealth® services are provided as follows. The exact services we will provide will depend on the result of the Initial Assessment and our discussion during this time. Please read all the terms before entering into a contract with us. Feel free to ask us any questions.
Your Initial Assessment
On our first meet, we complete an Initial Assessment to understand your therapy needs. This can take up to 60 minutes for Physiotherapy and up to 90 minutes for AposHealth®. Your physiotherapist will ask you questions about your health, pain and function. You may complete questionnaires and gait analysis to provide your physiotherapist with objective information. For a lower limb condition, it is useful to bring shorts or trousers that roll up and stay up. For a back or upper limb condition, wearing a vest can be useful to aid the physiotherapist in their assessment of you. You may be asked to remove items of clothing to assess the problem area/s. You can bring a chaperone to your assessment if you feel at all uncomfortable. Please discuss your needs on booking your appointment.
Consent to treatment
Your consent to treatment is normally given verbally on booking your appointment and at your initial consultation. Written consent may be required for interventions such as acupuncture. Our physiotherapists pride themselves in ensuring you fully understand your diagnosis, prognosis, advice and treatment that may be offered. If you require more information or clarity, please get in touch with us. We may need to contact your GP or consultant for more information about your health records if deemed appropriate to perform specific treatments.
Outcomes
Please note, that after your initial consultation, we may identify that we cannot progress to treatment due to the findings or suitability towards treatment.
If you are suitable for treatment, we cannot guarantee any particular result or outcome. During the initial consultation, and thereafter, we aim to manage your expectations in a realistic way. You are encouraged to discuss your needs and expectations with your physiotherapist before commencing treatment to fully engage with your programme. Some conditions and people may take a longer time to see and feel the benefit of treatment than others. We may provide a home treatment programme for you to complete in between visits. You have sole responsibility for acting on any recommendations or advice Reema Physio & Wellness may give. Your compliance may have an affect on the desired outcomes. We do not offer refunds for any services, individual or block bookings under Reema Physio & Wellness. We may stop treatment if you become unsafe or non compliant with the treatment. You may be liable to pay for the remaining treatment/ session.
Payments
Our fees are as stated on our website. You are required to pay the full cost of your treatment, we will take payment by cash, credit/debit card or BACS where appropriate. We can also provide you with a full receipt by email on your request (if not received when paying in person). We will only take payment from your paying card if payment is overdue and we have not managed to recover it. Once all fees have been paid, and treatments are completed, we will destroy the saved information of your credit card details. Treatment may be suspended or terminated if all fees are remaining overdue. We shall not be liable to you for any loss or profit.
Cancelled Appointment
Please keep record of your appointments with us - we send reminder emails and/or text messages prior to your appointment. To cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring a charge, we require at least 24 hour’s notice. No shows or appointments being cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment time will be liable to a late cancellation charge.
If your physiotherapist cancels your appointment for example due to illness , we shall endeavour to reschedule your appointment as soon as is possible and no charge will be made to you.
Referral to other services
If you require further assessment or treatment, we may refer you onto a third party. With your verbal consent, we will send a referral letter, after which the responsibility is on you to arrange an appointment with them. Once under their care you will be bound by their terms and conditions and we undertake no liability with respect to the third party.
Our Contract
You agree that you will indemnify us against any and all loss or damage suffered, including any legal fees or costs, as a result of any breach of this agreement by you.
In the event of us having to delay appointments or not being able to offer our services due to obligations outside of our control including but not limited to strikes, lockdowns, industrial disputes, failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, fire, flood or storm or breakdown of machinery, we will endeavour to reschedule appointments as and when we can.
